Anyone got a Nokia N73?

Just upgraded by moving back to Vodafone from O2 and got a free N73 with my contract, mainly because I loved my Nokia 6680 but it started playing up.

Anyway, while setting the phone up today I noticed that it didn't come with the mini SD card. My MMS card came free with my 6680 so I assumed the same would happen with the N73.

Can anyone tell me if they got the SD card included or if they had to buy one?

yes i have one ....................... and no it does not come with a memory card (three network). i phoned them and they said it is not part of the package. i was also a little surprised!!!!

i bought one (1gb) on ebay for about 6 quid

Mine doesn't have it either but I just bought one from Amazon (2GB) and it works great! Love this phone!

BTW, I just called 3 Service to ask for the price of unlocking the phone, as I don't want to pay the horribly high roaming rate while abroad, and they said I have to pay £350 network fee on top of the £15 unlocking fee as I'm just on the second month of the contract. This is Outrageously Ridiculous, isn't it? Is it legal for them to do so though?

Also does anyone elses phone just lock up and you have to remove battery!!!!

Cant say that I have been that impressed. But I love the camera on the phone. Thanks BBx

First of all, I would like to clear up that the Nokia N73 DOES NOT come with a miniSD card. This could be due to Nokia just being tight.

About your phone locking up "BargainBabe", this could be due to your handset having an older firmware version (software version) on it. Nokia website does supply a software updater click here>

Now not all handsets can be updated because Nokia havent yet released firmware upgrades for all UK Networks. Look into google and there are some nifty software programs on how to update your handset simply by changing the product code which specifies which region the handset is from. This would allow you to update your handset to a more stable firmware version and then you can change your product code back. It works really well and now my N73 is more stable than ever.
