Pimms...G&T..I'm not fussy - hand it over ladies: that cocktail didn't last too long!

Also *puts platters of chicken drumsticks, burgers and assorted other nice things, including a chocolate fondue on the table*, here's what's left from the no-BBQ (the weather wasn't that good :( ). Enjoy! :D

Hmm the way the weather is going I think we raid Hypno's house and set out curry, chilli (both meat and veggie varieties!) and jacket spuds.

Now if you will just let me in the kitchen I will make up some mulled wine (with a large dollop of brandy in it!)

The weather at mine was superb yesterday! Was out on the patio soaking up the unexpected sunshine!

Although mulled wine does sound good, I have to say!

So, update from me.....the bank of mum has been called upon to buy DD a car as she starts a new job today which is only accessible if you drive. Thankfully we got a good, low milage car sorted and the insurance is not horrific, so all good there.

Skiing at the end of this week is not happening after all. Won't go into details, but just putting it down to experience. All good though, and better things already presenting themselves to me in place of it, so you won't actually find me complaining about not going. The snow's pants anyway this year.......these things happen for a reason :D

All in all, life is good. Now, pass me a glass of that mulled wine......

Aww Hypno sorry your break hasn't panned out but glad better things are presenting themselves.

Glad you managed to sort a car out for DD.

Now I cant offer mulled wine but maybe a glass of chilled white wine.....

It has been the same for us, when we became DF a branch of the bank of mum & dad opened up at precisely the same location that this DFW had just vacated.

Pleased to read that life is good for you.

Funny how that happens isn't it, Spirit! The good thing is that I am able to help out - that is something that a few short years ago I simply wouldn't have been able to even consider. So I am quite happy about the whole thing.

Yes, life is good. Exciting times ahead :D
