TV Question: Has anyone bought from Bargain Universe?

Hi All, I have been looking to buy an LG TV, and the prices on Bargain universe, were really attractive. I tired calling them but says mail box full. Then I came across this site. Thank god I didn't give my card details.

However, as usual I was searching the web to see if I can get a good price. and Now I think I have come across another scam "priceTechshop". What got my alarm bells ring was the price was the same as that of Bargain universe. again I tried calling price tech ship, no answer. looked up the address on google maps and could not find the office or shop. However, there is another computer shop named Nailsworth computer shop. rang them and they informed me that several people has been inquired with them about pricetechshop. He informed that it is a house with a letter box, no one is there. it is being used only as a mail collection point.

I believe that is another scam company, may be even the same person as Bargain-universe because bargain universe site seems to be off line.

Hi steve, can you please check on pricetechshop. i think they are a fraud, would like people to be aware if they are.

hi there.last monday i made the mistake also,and have been on a crusade to bring these scum to justice,with MacChaps investigating after reading my post he got the site shut down.a result that has saved others.the more people who report this to the authorities the better.i reported mine to the bank within 15,20 mins.i have lost my money,im not giving up on that.if only there was any way of tracing the source.if any computer geeks know how please post.this is a well organized scam,and the work of a group.by the looks of it they use multiple transfer accounts to fleece the honest public.to add to my woes the family dog died today.so not having a good time of late,as i am sure everyone who posted is not.

This looks to be too good to be true as well, and appears to follow the barginshop setup. Premshop.com 'wholesale' products to customers .looked for a samsung tv and it's £400 cheaper than anywhere else... Whoislookup on the URL reveal an address in Malaysia...

Quite a few of these sites surfacing recently, always check and double check if they are kosher and avoid like the plague if Bank Transfer is asked for as payment.
