You're wrong. I don't like nets either, but every post (you've made) on this thread seems to be a moan about stuff you don't like or think is naff or is unneccesary.

I totally don't see the point of bed cushions. You get them in some hotels, too, and the only thing you can do with them is dump them on the floor overnight.

Ahh no, much bigger than that - Hooch was a Dogue de Bordeaux. If you've seen any Harry Potter films, my dog is Fang (well not literally, but you get the point)

Interesting! I'll have to look that book up because the UK Neapolitan Mastiff Club even states that the first one in the UK was imported in the 70s by a guy called Lewis. If there's a source for an earlier introduction than that I'll let them know.

Ahh but the thread is about someone not liking Christmas lights so it is a whinge thread....I'm just expanding upon the whinge. I could do a few posts on things I do like if that helps....they mostly involve wine, but hey.

I do sound like Jennifer Saunders if that helps!

Have a chat with her and ask what time she closes her curtains? Maybe she's closing them earlier than she normally would and that's what she finds annoying. It could be a case of switching the lights on at 7 instead of 6.

Personally, in the winter, I don't bother opening the curtains most days. It's dark when I get up in the morning for work and dark when I get home. And the curtains keep some of the heat in!

The thing annoying me about the lights is that it looks like you ran out of lights halfway through and didn't finish.

I'm not keen on the blue lights over the front room window.

I like houses that are not OTT & don't put the lights up too early. Mid december is early enough for me:D
