Can anyone recommend a cheap juicer, I have seen the Jack La Lane Juicer Express on E-bay for 99p + £29.99 p&p. Sold as slight second whatever that means!!
Never tried one but I love the idea of juicing, I don't want to spend a lot as it may end up in the back of cupboard!Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j0 -

But it gets ALL the juice out of the fruit/veg, and so i think you're getting more for your money!
I try and use mine every day (trying to be a bit more health conscious at the mo!!)0 -

I bought mine a few weeks ago from Tesco for the bargain price of £9.97. It's very basic but does the job well and is easy to clean and reassemble.0 -
I have a Jack juicer and it's fab. Not too bad to clean (unlike the Geoge  ) if you clean it immediately after use.
Got mine second hand from someone on ebay who lived local, so saved on the p&p. I would be careful of slight seconds, what is it that makes them seconds? You need to ask this question before you make a decision re purchase.:hello:0 -
My dad got me a juicer from Lloyds chemist for £9.99, it's not as good as the Jack Lalane, but it makes juice! With Love From The Mistress xx

I am in love with my housemate's juicer. Last night I used 4 apples, 1 tangerine, and a bunch of coriander. It made a pint of juice! It was DELICIOUS!"Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0

I bought the one from lloyds and its ok so far, and am going to save the pulp for soup etc as its a huge waste, we shall see.:A :j0

Has anyone experimented with using the pulp from juicers in home baking recipes? Should the amount of sugar be reduced? How much pulp should be added?
I've been composting the pulp but any ideas for other ways to use it would be welcome!0 -
Hi bertha,
We have an older thread on using pulp from juicers that might help so I've merged your thread with it.
