    Why is dropshipping not recommended?
Can you tell me what the wholesale site is please and what sort of things did you sell?
Dropshipping can work but do your research on the dropshipper first - so they don't suddenly disappear! Also you are working on very low profit margins.

Friend of DW scours car boot sales for things she thinks she can pick up cheaply and resell on ebay. Usually lightweight items (not dear to post) that are clean and in ggod condition.

  • babies and childrens clothes go well on ebay but which do you recommend selling single or in lots?
    what do you all think?
    nothing scares me.....ive got kids
  • its hard finding good wholesale supplier and knowing what to sell.

i've been using 123wholesale.co.uk for almost 2 years now. thier service is no doubt the best out of all the wholeslers i hve tried (trust me ive tried most of them!). their prices are also the lowest of the lot. the only trouble is that a lot of ebayers have started to use them. most ebayers will sell the items are almost what they've paid to buy them. but they then put on expensive delivery charges to make up for the small profit. its also a clever way of avoiding paying the paypal charges since its not charged on delivery costs! sometimes ive looked at 123wholesale's prices and thought that doesnt look right. its not them thats expensive, its just that theres too many idiots on ebay selling thier stuff too cheaply!

to be honest, ebay has had its day. too many people trying to undercut each other. start ur own ecommerce website... initally its a fair bit of more investment.... but u'll make much better money and less hassle too... u all know what i mean....ebay customers are a pain!

I think you should sell just one baby at a time.

Or did you miss the apostrophe from "babies' "? :D

Did you get a good grade in any of your exams and keep the course work? You could scan the work you did and put it on to a CDR and sell it as revision notes on ebay.

Charity shops.... charity shops.... CHARITY SHOPS!!!!

Search through completed ebay auctions and youll soon find collectable items in health markets which sell consistently on ebay for good money.. but that can be picked up in charity shops for pennys.

Black Saturn, you're a star (well a planet at least)

Got all my assignments on disc from completing BA (hons) business mgmt last year and they're all 1st class, so going to have a look and see if they're saleable.

But so much for a degree in business, cos i never thought of that one
