porting out of 3...and back in again.
Hello everyone!
My contract with 3 is coming to an an end. I want to keep the same number and I am planning to port the number out of 3, end my contract - port into a PAYG sim - and then port back onto a new 3 mobile contract.
Has anyone tried this? Does it work? I have an Orange PAYG sim card, but I could always get another one (have quite a few spare sims thanks to the Freebies section).
Don't try and persuade me that 3 are crap! I live in London - I get brilliant reception (better than T-Mobile who I was with before).

Yup, I did this. Ported to an 02 pay as you go and ported back to 3. Worked fine, though I'm sure customer services still think I have two accounts.0
