Indeed.
Which was neither a middle layer, nor the right weight.

Today we are looking for an important tool to bring on a hike. In order to find out which tool is hidden behind door no. 17, you should know that it marked the celebration of Bergans' 100th anniversary. The product was part of a limited edition and is made from a top-of-the-range material known as VG10.
Answer from HERE = 8100 Jubilee Knife0 -

Today's product is named after a plant that is well-known to those who spend time in the Norwegian mountains. The name of this plant is written in the same way as a German number between 1 and 5.

The present hiding behind this door shares its name with the island that is home to one of Norway's biggest music festivals. In 2010, Muse, Massive Attack and Arcade Fire visited the festival. The name of the place is derived from thruma, meaning a ledge that rises out of the ocean.
The festival is The Hove Festival on Tromøy

This cold is alarming, stay snug and stay charming. A warm hat on your head means no days spent in bed. There's another word for frost that sounds like time. Remove the 'e' to find the clue to this rhyme!
Wow! it's a very clever clue today in English - I pity the poor norwegians for once whose clue doesn't look anything like as good! The alternative word for frost is rime (rhyme is also a clue?)
Answer = 2335 Rim Hat0 -

The name of today's product is a type of wool that grows in bogs and wetlands all over Norway. It grows in tufts and is a member of the sedge family. The wool we are looking for has provided the name for a product you use on your legs, which is hidden behind door no. 21.
I'm struggling with this one - I will come back to it later. Don't take "wool" too literally - 'textile' might be a better clue.0 -
all I could find is Myrull which is the Norwegian word for bog cotton but the products called myrull are jackets. However one of them is long and will cover part of the legs, while the others are short, so I'm wondering if this is what they mean?
I had a look at the Facebook comments and the same discussion is going on in Norwegian. They're confused by the legs thing too so it's not just the translation! The last comment 'Ben går vel fra hoftene og ned......' Google translates as 'Ben goes well from the waist down' so I think this person might be suggesting it's the longer coat too?

I was wrong with the last one of these I had a go at though! I just can't see anything else, I've searched for other types of bog cotton and even the Norwegians on Facebook are saying myrull.0 -
