    This place used to be home to the world's biggest ski jump. To days ski jump was built in 1962, and the longest jump is 122 meters, set in the last race in 1996, by Paul Hansen. If you know the name of the place where the ski jump is located, you will also know what you will find behind this door.

    (Note that the Norwegian clue is slightly different to the English and translates as "The skijump was built by Baerum ski club and first adopted in 1928")

    The ski-jump is the Skuibakken at Skui.

    Answer = Skui Long Jacket

    We have developed a brand new product inspired by the claw of one of the kings of the ocean. What is hidden behind door no. 13?

    I can't find anything for this clue - will come back to it later.

    In order to find out which product is hidden behind door no. 14, you can start looking among the members of Team Bergans. One of these has a lot of experience from ski jumping. The name of this person will put you on the right track, but in order to solve today's clue, you also need to know the name of the place this person comes from. This is the name of the product you are looking for in today's task.

    I think this is the answer I originally thought for the 7th. Profile of Anders Backe HERE - click on the name on the right, and also HERE

    Anders Backe was born in Vikersund

    Answer = Vikersund Insulated Jacket

    (ETA Katiebennett was spot on yesterday - answer was Vasmi 3 finger glove)

    The product hidden behind this door is a featherlight middle layer garment. The men's model weighs just 380 grams in size L, and the women's model weighs 340 grams in size M. If you know which product we are thinking of, it might become yours.

    Based on the Mens HERE and womens HERE

    I think answer = Down Light Jacket

    (strangely some weights vary between the Norwegian and English catalogues, and also between latest and previous catalogues - the closest alternative is the Isfjorden whose weight straddles that required in different versions but never matches 380/340 exactly)

    see i am thinking its the Isfjorden at the moment becasue it has It is padded with heat-insulating PrimaLoft® and has low weight and minimal packing volume layer of which made up of goose feather as i researched it out a bit .which may be to do with the Featherlight quote but i am torn as the Down light Jacket is spot on too ..... tough choice today ....might dwell on it some more

  • It cannot be either of those because they are outer garments.

    It is talking about mid-layer.

    Behind door no. 16 you'll find a product that allows you and two friends to enjoy the room with the best view. The room is tunnel-shaped and well-suited to winter use.

    I think this is the 6016 Compact Winter 3-pers Tent shown HERE

    (Congratulations to Kevin Mayers from UK who wins a Vikersund Rucksack from the 14th)
