    Clearly it is a difficult time for you, although i am interested how clear you have made your situation to your employer? Are they aware that you will have to leave without support with immediate effect, and are they aware that if transport could be provided just for a few weeks the situation would be resolved? Presumably the cost to them in replacing you, both in time and lost money would mean this was sensible.

    At the bank also have you escalated the issue to the manager - often the higher you go the more flexibility they may have. As i understand it just a minimal loan/overdraft extension, which you would repay next month would solve the issue?

    I don't want to patronise you as you may have done all of this, but maybe being a bit more forceful may help you - if you lose your job the cycle continues again next month?
