No. No. I think its this site as much as any other.
Particularly since most of the "bulls" have ended up here anyway.

I only go on this site and there's no evidence that this 'bull meme' has been propagated here. By your own admission all the bulls are here so you'd think it would be an easy assertion to prove but apparently not.

Not sure there's much further we can go with this.

    :rotfl:Thats an extraordinary statement.
In the same manner as JulieQ somehow managed to speak for all bulls everywhere, you are somehow aware of everything thats ever been posted on this forum.

I don't think its neccesary to prove it.
And I think your overselling how easy it is to uncover specific discussions in 5 years worth of "debate".

I suspect the majority of posters are well aware of the fact that the bulls have regularly stated that new build flats and other FTB type properties have been the worst hit, naturally explaining how average prices have fallen, whilst they always appear to be on the rise on that most favoured of addresses "up my street".

The howls of protest from the same minority handful of posters who regularly interject onmy threads was of course entierly expected.

Not if all you can say is "no we didn't" when most people remember otherwise.

And yet you can speak so authoritatively about the forum despite only being a member for just over a year?

If you make these silly assertions then the burden of proof is on you.

And really, 5 years' worth of debate? How long have you been a member here?

Yet again, you're fantasising a straw man to argue against.

Well rather than just saying "no we didn't" I actually tried to find some evidence. With this being such a widely expressed 'bull meme' you'd think it would be almost part of the forum DNA and lesson one in the bull indoctrination manual.

My last post on this one I'm afraid - sorry not to get involved in one of your multiquote extravaganzas.

I'm not sure of the detail, but it's been revealed before that the dozen or so hardcore bull versus bear soldiers all post with each other across a variety of forums, so some of the various battles and wars, victories and losses and highs and lows from wars past, are documented in a variety of little-read places scattered around the interwebs.
  • geneer, it's sort of expected when you flash up something as fact, YOU are meant to back it up, rather than expect everyone else to scurry round fruitlessly proving a negative, amusing as it may be for you :) .

Oh I'm pretty sure its been said within the last year.

Sorry rob, I forgot that all you non-bulls were forced to reboot your online identities after the big ol' crash you utterly failed to see coming.
Didn't realise you would be so sensitive about it.

And lets face it the bulls don't have that many original ideas.
Pretty much everything you say is a well worn exercise in logical contortionism or banalities perfect in the 4 years...thats right 4 YEARS...since the crash hit.

The issue is that some areas have crashed harder than an Air France jet over the Atlantic.

Granted its not the twin of the scenario I described.
But its certainly a not too distant cousin.

    eugh? <scratches head>

So you're going to win an arguament by pointing out someone said something completely dissimilar to what you said lots of other people said?

Anyway, happy 6th bear birthday!!! thats about a quarter of a mortgage term gone now. Were you planning on retiring one day?

If geneer applies the same logic to pension planning as he has to home ownership, expect him to be sitting at age 63 still waiting for the 'mother of all stockmarket crashes' before he invests his pension savings.

Incidently, "winning an argument by dissimilar comparison" is second only to "winning an argument by lying" in geneers debating techniques.
