  • I got the same email but I did have things left in my basket because I decided against checking my 2nd order out. When I clicked the link from the email it took me to the basket that I hadn't checked out so I'm presuming that that's all mine was?!

I haven't received an email yet but I don't see why it should be cancelled? I signed up for their newsletter, received the £5 off code from them and placed an order, I'm a new customer and only used the £5 off code (not the 30% off one) so I don't see how I've done anything wrong?

  • i havent got that email. my order status is released for dispatch....

    :T

    probs will change tmz....
does my bum look big in this sig?
  • Ah right, I have realised now that the order I placed and received confirmation for was on a different email address to the one that the 'abandoned cart' email came to. I logges out and used a different email to try get the codes to go through after all the trouble I had putting them in the wrong order! Obviously the items are still showing in the basket as I didn't complete the purchase on that email.
  • I havent had the email so hopefully it fine
  • I had the email, when I clicked the link it took me to my basket with a dressing gown I decided against. I don't think this is giving us a clue one way or another, more an automated marketing tool. Keeping fingers crossed. It's their glitch, they knew of the offers and they've got my money now! :D

I can understand the multiple orders where people are getting goods for next to nothing, using multiple accounts, addresses, names and credit cards to cheat the glitch. Its understandable that these will eventually be cancelled, if they haven't the stock.

But me as a new customer, I bought an expensive item to use the £5 off (as it was cheaper than elsewhere) and still paid a fair amount from my credit card, should I be penalised because of greedy people? NO

What a horrible smug post, some people simply don't have the money to be buying "expensive" items, especially at this time of year, that doesn't make them "greedy" if they're trying to save a bit of money on christmas presents.

If you were so worried about having your order cancelled you always had the option of not using the code, after all £5 off isn't much if you're buying expensive items like you, it's a lot more if £5 is your top budget for each present at christmas, glitches are always a gamble for everyone.

I personally hope everyone gets their orders, there will be people relying on this for a nice, worry free christmas.

Perhaps instead of charging around like a bull in a china shop, use a bit of tact instead of being rude and gloating about your riches and morals, I dont think anyone is interested in how much you spent rather than the offer.

The glitch is using the £5.00 off and 30% together, the codes being stackable. It is rumoured that the 30% is a staff discount code and was not meant for public use. I expect orders will be cancelled as most of their stock has been bought with these codes, not many companies can afford to let glitches like this go through.

True Savvy, its unlikely this will be honoured although a couple of companies have come through such as, Asos last year and Staples very recently.
