I've had the same email. I know companies send out cancellation emails when glitches like this happen saying there has been a mistake etc, but to try and pull a fast one like this and lie making out we left the items in our carts to get out of fulfilling the orders is just is pathetic.
Surely they must know we all have email confirmations of the completed order?0 -

I got one of these at 1.05am it is probably just an automated email.
As you can see my glass is half empty:A0 -
I take it this is there way of saying we havnt ordered, how do we get our money back? x0
-
I haven't received anything as of yet, but my order has been marked for despatch.
I only did one order for 2 items but paid quite a bit so Im guessing Ill get my order.
I expect multiple ordering using same address and credit card might affect some orders.........
If my order turns up BONUS if not no hardship here0 -

What does it say on your account? Is there anything to say you have placed an order? Did you get a order number?
Maybe its just a random email glitch? I got 3 emails from Tesco groceries giving me different delivery times on Dec 23rd for no reason. Maybe the large influx of orders has melted their systems. If you are unsure and have an order number maybe phone them and ask if your order is still standing? :cool:0 -
It's an automated email being sent out, they don't work weekends hence the glitch still running.
I am going to say that it is unlikely they will honour as most of their stock has been wiped out by orders and no company can afford to honour that. The other thing is they will be aware of this quickly as paypal alerts a company when several orders are placed by the same account as an anti fraud measure.
I hope they do honour them but it will depend how early their warehouse team start and how quickly the office team pick up their emails, hope we hear of orders being sent out tomorrowComping wishlist for 2017

Do not phone them, this will only highlight the error quickly. If there is no order in your account then place another, but it was an automated email so don't panic.Comping wishlist for 2017

I can understand the multiple orders where people are getting goods for next to nothing, using multiple accounts, addresses, names and credit cards to cheat the glitch. Its understandable that these will eventually be cancelled, if they haven't the stock.
But me as a new customer, I bought an expensive item to use the £5 off (as it was cheaper than elsewhere) and still paid a fair amount from my credit card, should I be penalised because of greedy people? NO0 -

But why would it alert them quicky? they already know about the £5 new customer offer? and buy 1 get 1 half price?
EDIT: If your order is genuine then yes you can phone them, obviously if you are cheating the glitch then no.........0 -
Oh dear, I appear to have that email too. I only ordered once.0
