Our recycle men hand sort into the wagon, nad though they wear gloves, I would hate their job!0 -
Our council do ask that they are cleaned out, sometimes use washing up water, sometimes not, depending on what's convenient at the time.
We've got fortnightly collections too, and once, I had my neighbours bin by accident, it was filthy and stank, he didn't realise you weren't meant to clean them out first!!:rolleyes: Felt sorry for the poor sorters going through his stinky stuff!!Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts.
