DS has become something of a joke.
Vast areas of wasted space because of their appalling layout and the TV forums are infested with Sky promoters.
Haven't looked in for many months, now.
No doubt you'd rather have the regular BBC people there pushing the BBC because everyone has to pay them whether they want it or not0 -

For some balance on this report. People should be aware that it was written for the Global Warming Policy Foundation. A small charity set up to debunk the idea of global warming.
THIS IS a very interesting article on this charity. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Yes, I've seen vacancies for the BBC in the weekly media section. The same as I've seen many 1000s of other media companies advertising jobs there over the years.
Hahaha. Nice comeback with the link to an article in the completely unbiased Torygraph. Thanks for making me laughHow many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

The BBC and the Guardian are famous twins which is why the BBC spends so much money with the paper and their political alliances are the same.
This is why a few pages back I asked one of the BBC fans if they wanted a newspaper tax introducing too to fund the Guardian0 -

Sounds fun. Probably in Scotland. )
I have explained why the TV is facing the wall , The BBC/TVL told me it must be facing the wall if i was not going to renew my licence. I hope that is clear it was what they said I MUST DO.
As for a town with lots of TV's facing the wall i don't think so most people are forced into paying for a TV licence just to stop threats at their front door and nasty letters each month.
Some libraries are shutting down due to cuts.
I am not in Scotland.0 -

They are seriously misguided. You can legally use your tv to play computer games, watch dvds etc without having a licence. Their own website states as much.
Would be difficult to do so with tv facing the wall."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

I understand that now but it shows what they are like when they say i MUST DO IT if i am not going to pay for a TV licence.
To be honest the TV is still facing the wall it is an old large big screen one that needs two people to lift it.0 -
Not only must the TV face the wall but the owner must hop on one leg whilst unplugging the set from the wall. I know because the inspector told me so.0
