Having got my PAC (again) from Voda, I'm on the lookout for a cheap and cheerful contract phone. This one, despite my rubbish eyesight (it has the same small size screen as my old Nokia 5800), seems to fit the bill. With 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb (far more than I currently use on this line) is there anything obviously wrong, with the phone, TescoMobile, or the deal - it's a tenner a month?

Sounds like a good deal to me although I dont know anything about the phone. I'm gong to try and convince my mum that its worth moving networks for a deal like this.
  • Hello,

Have a look at this for reviews: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/reviews/google-android/3289796/samsung-galaxy-mini-gt-s5570-review/

Look at other reviews to get more opinions on it.

    Hope this helps :)

Tried going for a similar deal a few months ago and ended up with Tesco hanging on to 20 quid of mine for a few months as the deal was over-subscribed but Tesco's system still took my money. At the time neither their online system nor their call centre could work out what had gone wrong and they weren't very helpful in trying to get my money back. I ended up having to get my bank to do a charge back to my card.

So I'm not impressed with their customer service and ended up moving to Giff Gaff who offer what they call a Goody Bag with 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data for a tenner per month. You have to have a phone already though.

    James.

Thanks all, but Tesco have just answered the query for me. I certainly wont be signing with Mr T.
After putting all my data in they asked me to call them (no specific option) with an order number and I went into a ridiculous cycle of hanging on for eventually someone to, "put me through to sales". Needless to say that didn't happen and just back through the electronic options.
And I thought Voda was the worst!
