One of the handy thing about the fact that you never have anything worth saying is that you can be the first on my ignore list. Congratulations.

    Seriously? that's your first?

Yes. Honestly. In fact - I can't figure out how to do it! Can you please help?

You only have 11 posts - go find the corrections yourself. Your "legal opinion" on disability was so wrong, even the non-lawyers were correcting it!

But SarEl - you are a Barrister. You must have the definitive answer.

You have got me concerned that I have got something wrong here so please have the courtesy to tell me what I have said that is incorrect.

click on name, view public profile. under the name there is an option for user lists. either add to contacts, or add to ignore lit. it'll ask if you are sure.

Here you are, I'll help out. This is very wrong:
"The legal definition of a disability is an impairment that may last up to 12 months."

And this, regarding an internal appeal:
"a Tribunal pre-hearing may enforce this before any full hearing can take place."

Are you a qualified lawyer who has specialised in employment law? Or did you mean CIPD qualified / other HR qual? Or did you mean an employment law specialist? Not having a go, I'm genuinely interested. :)

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

lazarus - this is why it is dangerous to rely on forums. Please, please do go see a real life solicitor, who has a liability towards you because you paid them!!

kiki - I have an LLM and am a practising Lawyer. I am currently on Maternity leave - hence my presence on this site. I was missing the job and wanted to do something helpful whilst off on leave and whilst I was on the site, decided to help out with some guidance for the posters.

    Well, no more.

This site is populated by some very unpleasant people.

    Good bye and good luck.
