Furious with Youngpoll

Options
Having been a member of onepoll for ages and withdrawn a bit of cash with no problems I allowed my 13 year old to join youngpoll as a way of topping up her pocket money.

The surveys came in quite regularly to begin with but then became less and less. I contacted them twice with no reply or acknowledgement.

Finally she has reached her £20 pay out with much excitement only to discover that the payout link is dead!! I have emailed them again and guess what? .... no reply.

I have one very unhappy little girl and I am furious! Any suggestions as to how we can get paid out? Anyone else had this problem?

I think they have a repuation for not replying to any e-mails. When I had a problem they ignored my messages so I rang them on the main number 020 7138 3053 , they were really helpful and problem was sorted straight away

My advise is to try ringing

They have a Facebook page and if you belong to FB you can comment on their wall and ask about the problem.
    Don't mess with pensioners.

I emailed them (onepoll not youngpoll) via their contact form a couple of days ago with a query and had a reply the next day. It was quite friendly too. Maybe they now have new people on it.

Ok so have just called the phone number above and guess what? It went straight to answerphone!!!

However I have found a contact number for 72point who process the payments and have called them. I have been assured of an email or phone call.....let's see.

Wanted to post a quick update in case anyone else is struggling with youngpoll.

I finally got my daughter her £20 today!!

It took several emails and 3 phone calls to 72point who run onepoll and youngpoll. I am afraid I used the words 'child abuse' to finally get things done but a very helpful young man called Oli actioned the payment straight away. Lets hope he also listened enough to try and sort out the general mess that the site is in!

The phone number I called is 01179 066577 in case anyone else needs it.

I'm glad you got the payment problem sorted but describing it as child abuse is ridiculous and really insulting to children that are actually abused. I hope your daughter wasn't listening in and learning that waiting for her money = child abuse, she'll be accusing you of abuse if you withhold her pocket money!

Also the "very helpful young man" who answered the phone and actioned the payment is probably just an employee who doesn't run the whole site so isn't responsible for the mess it's in. But I hope accusing him of child abuse made your day, I bet it ruined his.

    Oh for goodness sake!

I was trying to help other people who's children are being EXPLOITED! Is that a better word? I do know what child abuse is and would not make light of it.

Thank you for making me feel awful. I won't bother posting again. Good luck to everyone else with youngpoll.
