  • Hiya,

Finally finished our Paper Mache Pig today for our first SPC. Can't work out how to post a pic of it, but I am very impressed..

£2.50 found upstairs that OH left on table, so that's his contribution even though he doesn't know it yet - can't hurt can it?...

Plus 25p found in Little Ones jeans pocket after the wash so not bad for day 1..

Inside the store they have one of those coin star machines and two little boys of around 3 & 5 were on their hands and knees trying to get at something underneath the machine. The boy's father was calling them to 'come ON you two' but the elder of the two replied loudly 'but it's a POUND Dad!' Dad was obviously embarrassed but I felt like giving them a stick with which to drag it out :rotfl:Well done boys I say :T

That little tale was wonderful, little_sweetie! Strange how you can really 'see' these things too! Well done boys indeed! Good luck with e-bay.

really dont like not knowing how much I have in!!

    ?

lisalollipop, as I tried to explain to you a few days ago, the whole idea of not keep a tally of what we're saving is so that it keeps us motivates to keep on saving as much as is possible. However, you've got an unknown amount in the pot - why not leave that as it is - then keep account of all the rest that you save so you will have a rough idea of what your goal is??? Can't say fairer than that can I? No, well you take note and carry it through.

You very lucky chap, sparky!!! If that's being bullied then you must be a masochist!! :rotfl:

    Very, very good, Kerry!!

Thanks so much ETO, day by day it's getting a little better. :D Very well done with your savings, see it came good!! :j

ooooh excellent, emmlouie!!! Coupons do well.

Good for you too, jakes-mum, Lost and nanto3children.

You're welcome, Absinthe, I see you're doing very well.

    Brilliant recurrent-ostrich!!!

Well done on having completed the paper mache pig, lollytonka! Have a look on the 1st post of page 1 and you'll see a link to jammie dodger's (JD) instructions on how to upload a photo. Well done on realising your OH had donated some cash!!!! :j Can't hurt at all - nothing can that does good so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else!! ;)
Have a lovely evening everyone and a super Sunday.

    Evening all...
Oh dear oh dear, nu1isit? Such a god job there aren't 2 of you on here.

I think that would be too much fun for you to handle Sue :p...
Have you tried turning on each side for a while to see if anything drops out?? Be careful now....!

I thought of that bit in Shrek where he tilts his head and pull a candle out of his ear :rotfl: :D :rotfl:...
Seriously, I do hope you soon feel much better

It's better now Sue, almost back to my cheeky self, minus good hearing in my right ear still :D...I don't know if that's a good thing for others though :p...

Been up to the lovely Hamsterely Forest today, trying to [STRIKE]tire[/STRIKE] keep the kids entertained and happy. I think me and the dog had more fun running about like idiots, with our tongues flapping about to be fair :p.
    Look nature, it's all around:

It's a glorious 50p from us today :D, I'm trying to convince the DW into letting us delve in to her cavernous purse later, to check for change :p. You might not hear from me again :D...

    Happy Potting everyone :j

Hi all, Had a lovely, DH birthday, meal out this afternoon, (never go out at night), we go to one of those pubs where you get 2 meals for £10. Spent £50 for 4 of us, including dinner, puddings and drinks, so should have £20 for the pot. BUT, they have a Valentine's night 3 course meal for £25 coming up so we might book for that. That's for 2 people so not too bad. We put £70 a month away for going out which we rarely use. Will start putting that in the pot if it doesn't get used. :D

    Hugs all round. :)
