That's great news, bubbs and isn't he doing well along with you! You don't have to open it with a can opener. Why not get another tin and be sure to 'tease' the cash out of both in November - no waste at all then and you don't need to spend a thing on any more next year!

Just came back from Mr M's having topped up with bread & milk etc for the weekend and I had to smile. Inside the store they have one of those coin star machines and two little boys of around 3 & 5 were on their hands and knees trying to get at something underneath the machine. The boy's father was calling them to 'come ON you two' but the elder of the two replied loudly 'but it's a POUND Dad!' Dad was obviously embarrassed but I felt like giving them a stick with which to drag it out :rotfl:Well done boys I say :T

I've potted the remainder of this week's food budget a whole £1.43 which is better than last week and I aim to try even harder next week

I have some eBay sales closing this weekend which I hope I'll actually be paid for this time so I hope to bank the proceeds within the week...:T I'll add it to my signature when that happens.
