  • Another shiny £2 coin for the tin at mum's house, 12p change to go in the terramundi pot 2p of which was road kill chucked away by a wreckless teenager coming out of Mr M's......Silly boy!

Most of my roadkill comes from teenagers - they won't bother to pick up small change if they drop it. One day they'll learn ...

I think we all have that banner down the side but your window should adjust so you can see all the writing. Are you using internet explorer? You could try changing the zoom (in 'tools') or maybe downloading a newer version?

I finally potted some change! £2.70 yesterday as this was all the coins in my purse at the endo of the week.

This morning I planned to pay last years change into the bank but they were closed (why didn't I know that?) so took it to the PO in the village. The lady said they weren't supposed to change coppers? But she did it anyway as I was the only customer. This left me with the odd £3.37 in 5ps, 2ps and 1ps so I might as well put it in this years pot as it's not worth paying into the bank!

Do POs usually take coppers? It is a really small one so maybe that's why.

Hope everyone has a good weekend :)

  • Am loving my sealed pot and already excited about opening it in November and counting it up! :j

Gave BF £1 yesterday morning for his daughters dinner money as he was short and all I could think was "that could have gone in the pot" so I made him pot 2 x 50p when he came over last night - he said I was a tightwad! Which isn't fair at all, because I let him off the interest.... :rotfl:

Ebayed a ton of old junk this week and made a profit - can I pot that money do you think? Or is that not in the spirit of the challenge? I'm not usually an ebayer so it is bonus money :T
