  • Hi Sue can I join you on here I have started saving my odd bits of change and so far I have £25 . I started it just before Christmas and it soon adds up
  • Please could I join in with the sealed pot challenge too ? I have one of those empty tins that held a whiskey bottle. I filled it with some odd silver change yesterday although did not count it. No target in mind, anything towards Christmas would be a big help. As for roadkill, my daughters are constantly on the lookout for this already , I`m constantly telling them to get up off the floor in Smiths by the till :rotfl:Thanks very much in anticipation
  • Please count me in - any temptation that I want, but don't need will be going in the pot! Along with, where possible, money saved through shopping.

I seemed to have joined this challenge a while ago but didn't keep up! When I find my pot I'm going to make a big effort this year. I've signed up to 5 challenges and I'm determined to keep up with all of them. I don't have a target at the moment but I'll use the money for December's wedding anniversary.

  • well my pots not arrived yet  so I will have to find another coffee jar. When it arrives I have decided to count it as I put it in apart from my £2 coins. Just too see how much I have after 1 month. I know I have lots of 2p's and 1 p's in there so I dont think that I have a lot.

I put a few more coins in mine yesterday - nothing larger than a 10p. No roadkill spotted - probably blown away by the wind!

Whilst clearing out a drawer I found a small bag that was jangling with the sound of coins and got all excited about boosting my pot , then discovered it was some left over Canadian Dollars :(
There's about $7 in there but the BdC won't accept coins (I remember that I swapped the notes back - about $60). Any suggestions what to do with them?
I'm unlikely to be going to Canada any time soon.
