Ivebeen inspired by all the posts on here to start my own pot & well just see what I get to by nearer the end of the year. I've dug around and found spare change, plus some notes for Childcare costs I had budgeted for but didn't need so in the pot today is £23.24.

Good evening everyone, hope you all had an enjoyable NYE last night.
Every month we put a certain amount aside for a meal and a drink out. Lately though we've been having a 'special' meal at home so I've persuaded DH to pot the money as though we'd been out. He thought at first about leaving it in the bank but I said it would only get used for something else. He came round to my way of thinking after I twisted his arm a bit, I mean, showed him the error of his thinking. :rotfl:
I'm getting quite excited about what might be in the pot in November.:j

Just been for a mooch around the pigstye that we call DD1's bedroom and although I cut my baby pinkie finger it was worth it as I found 5p for the pot :T
Came downstairs and rifled through coat pockets, also hands down sofa's and have come up with the grand total of £1.25 yipppeeeee.
I'm totally excited about finding money and if anyone see's me with my snout to the ground tomorrow morning, you know what I'm a doing! Yes sealed potters, I'm a hunting "roadkill".
I have 1 petty cash tin at my mums saving "Only" £2 coins (she will have the key)
And I am entrusting myself with a terramundi pot for this sealed pot challenge, I promise to try my best, I haven't had much success with this pot in previous years, I can sometimes be found clad with knife in hand doing my uttmost to weedle a few quid out for the kids lunch money as I have woken up late and haven't prepared the lunches!!! Note to self, children will have to eat cardboard sandwiches that I have prepared the night before, so that I don't fall prey to assaulting the terramundi pot!!!:rotfl:

Oh just to add, can anyone tell me where to find the £2 coin saving challenge thingami bob room plz

    Happy potting everyone .
