Netgear - Poor quality products even worse technical support !

I'm not a netgear fan as I have had problems with their products. Maybe you should try belkin like I did. At least they provide 24 hour support that you can reach via freephone. They moved heaven & earth to sort out a problem I had with connecting to the Internet even though the fault was with the way I had !!!!!!ed up the network setting of my PC and not anything wrong with their router like I had originally thought.

2 weeks later, 2 - 20minute phone calls to netgear technical support (on an 0870 number - for which they block calls via the 01/02 equilivant), a letter to Netgear UK complaining, and 25 tickets/emails sent - I FINALLY have an RMA (Returns number !!) .... for a unit that their own manual states (when the particular condition I have with the units occus), is a fault and needs to be sent back to netgear !!

Although - I have no confidence in their ability to send me a replacement in a timley fashion !! lets see what happens !!

PS - yes, from my experience almost any other brand it better than Netgear !!
PPS - for those who have working netgear products, I hope they remain working and you never have the missfortune to have to deal with their technical support division !!
