Paypal charged a credit card that OP had previously set up to be paid by Direct Debit but cancelled the direct debit thinking nothing was going to be charged to the card.
That's how I read it, anyway.
It was a basic account, paypal tried to claim the DD, not enough money in the account for it to go through, Nationwide charged me for the failed DD making the account overdrawn. As i hadn't updated the address i couldn't be informed of this, so it was only when a 1 month late mark was put on my file that i found out. If i didn't have the credit watch it could have built up for months and i'd have known nothing!0 -

Thanks for clearing that up.
Although as I'm sure you know, your fault for not updating your address on any open account. Something that can actually damage your creditworthiness in and of itself.
