Phones 4 U and Carphone Warehouse In-Store trade-in?
Has anyone ever traded in a phone in-store with CPW or P4U? Is this even possible? I know they both do it online, but I'm not sure about in-store.
Alternatively, if anyone can recommend any other stores who trade-in mobile phones, that'd be great too. I just have no desire to do it online (I really don't want to be posting my phone off)
Thanks

You can trade-in at CPW for money off a new purchase (or a purchase you made in the last 14 days) but you can't trade in for cash as the website advertises.0

Well that's a bit crap! Why advertise a service that doesn't exist?

I traded my nokia phone in to my local carphone wharehouse about a fortnight ago. They used my bank card and the money was transfered in within 3 days no problem at all0

They can put it onto your bank card but they can't give cash. I suppose that because of people wanting £100 cash out of the till first thing in the morning. Most stores won't have that in their floats haha.Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug).

I wonder why the two shops I went to said it was no longer possible to trade in in that way?0
