which networks will allow you to order a pac code online

I know virgin do and o2 dont. Had real hassle getting my code off o2.

I have a payg mobile with virgin and want to transfer my number away from them in order to transfer it back on a new contract (can't do it direct). I have done it once for my wifes phone, but now need to do it again for mine, but don't want to use o2 for it. What network do you suggest as in the heading would prefer to do most of the legwork online, rather than negotiate my way through their customer service centre.

online? - do you mean over the phone?

Couple of years ago, you can get PAC from Vodafone PAYG (on a freephone number). Not sure if they've changed their procedures since.

i think the OP means online as in via internet.

As far as i know, none of the networks allow you to do this.
I had to get my Orange PAC recently via post, they wouldnt send via text which they have done previously!!

Thanks medic, yeah I meant online. I am just looking for a provider that will issue a pac via an online instruction(email). I just cant be bothered with the call centers attempts to stop you.

Virgin definitetly do, but it is them I am moving from to go back too.
