Capital One - Rejected!

I appealed the capital one card rejection to get the very same letter bar the opening line that they had looked at my appeal and other information sent, bank statements, saving statement and all to no effect.

Still a No for me. Good luck with your appeal.

Did try vanquis who said yes so at least I can rebuild credit file now.

its a deposit they hold for 6-12 months usually. deposit usually £200 and credit limit £200 so in effect you are spending your own money not theirs. after the prescribed time they will return your deposit and your credit limit will remain the same or increase all being well

To add, I applied for Capital one classic 6 months ago, got declined so appealed using appeal letter template of this site and was accepted, received card 10 days later.
I was made Bankrupt Feb 2009 and Capital one where one of my creditors so default was still present on CRA's.

With appeal template I included copies of bank statements and vanquis credit card statements.
I'd give it a bash mate, was told it worth a try and paid off in end.
