Are you saying that they charged VAT on the full order value? When you say tax, I assume you mean VAT.

This sounds unusual to me. Are they supposed to do that?

That's so annoying OP, no wonder you're irritated! You could try complaining but I suspect Vista wouldn't have offered this deal had they any intention of letting purchsers have sale prices too. You should complain anyway though just in case...
  • I think asoftie meant VAT as I had the same experience as him. Added VAT right at the end before you submit your order. I agree with Libertysurf, it is just good value. I would still continue to use them so they must be doing something right! :)

So you will have spent £39 on £60's worth of business cards? Sounds ok to me.
    Thank you all who post.
  • Just keep an eye on your bank statements in case you got signed up for their rewards scheme in error.

Vistaprint is an American company that achieves a worldwide turnover of about a billions Dollars advertising FREE business cards, photo books and calendars.... now you know where the billion Dollars are coming from.
  • i bought living social coupon for 10£ worth 40£ pounds to use @ vista print. I use vista print from 3 years and never had issues. So went with this offer as bargain. But the code did not work and they charged me 49£. When I asked for 40£ discount for the code , they gave 12£ and a new code for another 10£ which I do not want. If I raise a dispute with paypal(I paid thru paypal), will I get my money back ? I have to ignore for the 10£ :(

Groupon should have made it very clear that the coupon did not include p&p and tax etc.
This is commonly done using the exclusion of the words "..........Including P&P".

Generally if a Companies costs include the postage & packaging or any additional extras, they will make it abundantly clear.

Groupon tend to be good where services i.e. hotel offers and restaurants are offered and these can be excellent (but of course you need to be flexible on what day you dine/stay!)

Where they tend to be less successful is on goods....I would never buy a goods offer from them for that reason, although would have no qualms buying hotel and restaurant deals
