Nothing in the way of stray pennies... must clean sofa. :D

Kellbobs - enjoy the new cooker and hopefully the old one will indeed yield pennies and the new one will save them through efficiencies or whatever new ones have. :) I am convinced a large part of the power of my new(ish) cooker is that the door seal actually works. :D

No stray coins lurking under the old cooker but on my way to work I captured 25p so not a bad day after all!

Saved 240 pennies by going to work on train instead of using car :D

Spent 7166 pennies fixing mixer shower and buying replacement dvd drive for laptop :(

But..fitted new mixer thermostat for shower and dvd drive myself so saved unknown pennies and the satisfaction of doing it myself instead of paying somebody else to do it ... :D

    :) Hi fellow penny guarders!

No roadkill for a while - funny how it seems to come in batches.

However, I did save 500 pennies this week with an unexpected discount at the hairdressers. Also saved 400 pennies at Mr T's due to coupon use.

    Hi folks,

Found a penny on top of a litter bin - does that mean somebody put it there?

Saved 420 pennies as bought 4 cat flea treatments online for £11.80 as opposed to getting 1 every month from the vets for £4.00 :D - same brand, same treatment :T

My taking penny prisoners seems to have come to a crashing halt. :(

If the cost of living goes up any further it'll be me that's getting locked up. Does anyone have a balaclava????? :rotfl: Or even an old stocking :rotfl:
