free iphone 4s deal with 3 on money saving expert
clicked this link on site, took us to onestopphoneshop.co.uk, offering free 16gb phone for £35pm on 3. my husband and son both have contracts with 3 so we called them about this deal, 3 said best they could do was £300 for the phone and £35 contract. How can this be?? Same provider but cannot qualify for this deal, only option would be to cancel the contract .....anyone make sense of this?

onestopphoneshop is a 3rd party and hence they can offer deals that 3 dont. They will use some of their bonus for getting you to sign a contract via them to make the deal more attractive than by going to 3 directly.
note that the contract you want to get the deal on is already with 3 then you would need to port it to another network first and then take the deal and port back to 3.
That said if it is a contract thats already on 3 did you ask about upgrading the accuont rather than taking out a new contract0
