Hi,
If you book a return ticket and miss the outbound flight with ryanair can you still take the return flight.
I've had a look on the website and its doesn't seem to mention anything saying you can't.
Thanks.

You actually buy two single tickets on most no frills airlines, so missing the outbound flight (or inbound) will not affect the other.
It is usually the full service airlines where the return ticket is cheaper than 2 singles, then you could have a problem.0 -
Don't know about Ryanair, but most airlines I've asked that question of cancel any subsequent legs of a journey booked with them if you miss one.
Gone are the days of having to reconfirm flights, it's all assumed you'll be there if you make the preceding part of the trip.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. I've already bought the return ticket so im trying to find out if I can miss the outbound and use the return portion without any hassles. Can't find anything recent on the internet that explains whether I can or not.0

Ryanair does not sell return flights. You've bought two singles on one booking. The second flight won't be cancelled if you don't turn up for the first. The same goes for easyJet.0

Passengers who do not use their outbound flight may use their return flight.0 -
HW1, Louisf is on the money. I can categorically confirm that you will have absolutely no problems whatsoever if you treat each leg as completely separate booking even if you booked them together under one reference. I have split my bookings like this many many times as a form of insurance in case I decide at the last minute to go out earlier or later or come back earlier or later. Quite often to do this I have booked two return tickets (i.e a total of 4 dates on a total of just two booking references) and used the outbound from one booking and the inbound from the other. When flights are dirt cheap then it would be rude not to.
Ryanair may well monitor it but for all the years I've been using them and booking online (eleven) they have not penalised this kind of activity in any way whatsoever.0
