Moving phone and internet to NTL? Good idea?

Hi all, I'm in need of some advice,

I currently have the following:

• BT line, used to receive calls (we call out using our mobiles xnet etc etc)
• Demon 8mb broadband (24.99) static ip unlimited ans i am a heavy user (paid for by work, but now leaving job so need to find cheaper alternative)
• I have an NTL basic tv subscription that comes with a phone line but dont really use the phone.

What i'm thinking is if I can transfer my bt number to ntl and get ntl unlimited broadband (ditching my bt and demon in the process), but i've had ntl for more than a year and am wondering if I can get a good deal from them if I get the broadband too? Any advice would be appreciated.
