Hi,
I'm looking to book flights, london to melbourne, for january but I'm unsure where to look.
I have been on google but are there any sites that I should have a look? I will probably go through STAtravel but i'm worried i'm missing out on better deals
thanks for any help :T

Consider a flight+hotel deal through an agent such as trailfinders or Austravel with the hotel accommodation at a stop over point, also look at http://www.airasia.com/gb/en/home.html
Where in the UK are you?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
https://www.kayak.co.uk is my usual starting point but when flying to Oz there are other factors to consider. Do you want the absolute cheapest flight or do you care about airline, layovers or routing? Would you like to have a stopover one the way there or back (it really helps break up the journey and is a very cheap way to see a new part of the world)
There have recently been some very cheap flights to Oz on Air China but I've heard mixed reports about the quality of the service or the layover experience in Beijing.
Australia is a long, long, way away so it's worth paying a little more for a little more comfort. Your body will thank you at the other end.0 -
i live in london so can jump on any flight from here. I would probably be looking for the cheapest flight as i don't have the greatest budget for this trip

If you are looking for the absolute cheapest and don't mind roughing it a bit then Air Asia is worth a look - though you may be leaving it a little late to get the best prices.0
