What was it like living in a country for a day without celebrating diversity? It must have been like an anti-Christmas.

NHS Doctors striking for better pensions is rather like the French striking for more cheese IMHO.

What's Christmas, Gen? Surely you mean Winterval?

The subsidy is clear, it's in Hutton at £32B.

NRAM still had a loan of £27 billion at the end of June 2011.
  • Anyone know why the civil service only pay 3.5% contribution or what their benefits are?

Know it might not be many compared to other sections but probably relatively well paid.

I had to go to hospital today for a routine ultrasound scan (no I am not the first pregnant man)

Got there 15 mins early, was seen 10 mins early and was scanned by a doctor rather than a radiographer so got the opinion at the same time.

First time I have had an NHS appointment and been out before the appointment should of started.
    Hospital seemed fully functional TBH.

Perhaps you were just very lucky.

I know our local hospital had cancelled all clinics and non urgent stuff.

A couple of weeks I had an ultrasound done by a doctor and I was in and out on time. We have a pretty slick hospital where we are though.

I have been doing aquick check. Seems £50bn went in as a direct investment out of a total £850bn, the balance being "guarantees". Until the fat lady sings I guess we won't know.

Interestingly the PCS website states £1.3 trillion of commitment:think:

Some of us on the classic scheme contribute 1.5% :money:

Seemingly Heathrow didn't have the delays and problems it was expecting, maybe there were less flights in perhaps but many people interviewed going through customs/immigration said it was efficient and quicker than normal.

Less staff available but improved productivity and efficiency, Surely a fact that the government wont ignore?

Am I missing something here? or does it perhaps go someway to prove the belief of many that lots of areas of the public sector are bloated and inefficient?

If you hate the bankers so much through jealousy, perhaps you should have worked harder at school. You too could earn a 500K bonus instead of setting a picket line.

No it just means that the rule book was put away for a day.

Of course if you think unfettered economic migrants piling in are a good idea then perhaps it should stay there.

    Oh, thats what happens anyway:think:
