  • Declaring No 11:) - might just reach target after all (fingers crossed)

It's really horrid out there - have ventured as far as the garage to put the car in as could hear my neighbours plant pots smashing against the side of the house again (wish he'd get rid of them - the wind always blows towards my house so they end up smashing/making a mess on my bit ... which I'm then left to clear up:mad:). Sorry :o that's the lurgi making me grumpy!

Really impressed how well everyone's doing ....and in December:T

Thank you ..... it's funny how you just kind of start to get used to "knocks" - I didn't realise how many there had been until my boss said to me as she finished for Christmas (along the lines of) "what a terrible year you've had - it really can only be better next year":(.

So, yes, I will be glad to see the back of 2011 - but I've survived, have paid off the last of my debt and (despite several hiccups in the past few weeks) have avoided getting into it again, so that's a positive I will be taking away from it.:)

Anyway .... think I'm going to head off to bed for a bit - of course taking Lurgi with me (as wouldn't want it to be lonely;)), as well as my Kindle, tissues, vaseline (for my nose!) and a bottle of water.

I've not tried honey in warmed water before :o (usually on hot blackcurrent with rum in!;)) but will def give that a try before I head upstairs:), thanks.

Debt free & determined to stay that way!
  • Get well soon rising...
And hoping for a happy 2012 for you as well.

Alas another spend day for me. Spent £4.81 meandering through my teeny town centre.

You have had a rough year, rising, it seems to have been one thing after another for you.

A huge WELL DONE for getting rid of your debt and, despite everything else that happened, not getting back into debt again, that's a real positive and an inspiration for anyone reading your post.:T:T

(((hugs))) hun, hope you feel better soon. Hot honey is brilliant for colds or flu (even better with some whisky in it:D)
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • #15 please for me!

I had a rather frustrating day at work.I had wanted to look for a cashmere jumper in the sales after work, but got off late and just came home.I haven't been in the town centre since before Christmas, hope there's still some choice.I just can't abide crowds,so I think I'll wait until Friday morning when I'm off and it's hopefully quiet.I don't really 'need' anything else in the sales, and don't want to be tempted....

I made a nice discovery last night.I found 200 francs that I had taken out a few weeks ago,had put it in my budget money jar and promptly forgot all about it.

Anyway, early night for me tonight,I hope.

    Good night!
