NSD No 12 today, spent all day in the house washing dogs bed, cleaning up after them, trying to put DH's electric shaver back together plus numerous other things they've -- ahem-- taken a liking to. Well, they are teething after all. DH is not a happy man, one of the things the dogs chewed was his "Bible". His Marguerite Patten cook book that he's had for longer than we've been married, (38 years), irreplaceable in his eyes. Ah well, what can you do?

Spend day for me. I'm just back from a wander to the store 'in case there was anything of interest'' - always a dangerous move ;)

Came back with two individual portion sized pasta 'salads' at 19p each (one chicken, one tomato) for lunch tomorrow and Thursday, 4 packs of breaded ham (5 slices per pack) at 29p each which are now in the freezer - and my turkey for this year !!! I was lucky enough to be 'on the spot' as they reduced a Turkey crown (2.275kg) from £19.31 to £4.99 - so that's about to go in the oven, and once cooked and cooled completely it'll be sliced and squeezed into my freezers (which I'm currently in the process of doing a stock take on) for using with salad or in sandwiches over the next few weeks (or months).

I have managed to work through a shameful amount of household filing that's been piling up - I always start each year with such good intentions but then mid way through they're starting to end up in drawers instead of the file:o - oh, what an exciting life I lead!:rotfl:

Really need to tidy the house & give a good clean tomorrow - I am messy by nature but it's even starting to annoy me now!:)

    Have a good evening everyone

Hey there, sorry I've been MIA for December.

I've been counting the NSDs all the same as other months and I'm now reporting I'm on 12/15 NSD

I don't know if I'll hit the target but I'll get close to it. Apologies for not being on here for December but I'm still trying hard and in Jan I will have to aim even higher!

I've had no NSDs since Christmas

On Christmas Day I saw a code on the Grabbit board for £50 off any hotel booking. I've now got a four star hotel for £30 for one night in Manchester for a gig I'm going to :D

Boxing Day was the sales so many pennies spent there. I haven't got a final figure for that yet as I will be returning quite a few things.

Today I spent £5.35 (!!) on Sudafed as I seem to be developing a sinus infection. Gah! Maybe tomorrow will be another NSD - good thing I've already hit my target :rotfl:
