  • Hi everyone. 1st day of school hols today .

 Our's don't break until Thursday!
I want to get a tree for next year to replace our one which currently stands at quiet a jaunty angle!!

mmmmmmm that wouldn't have anything to do with the furr-babes would it!;)

I've given up having one .....

[QUOTE=flying_fresian;49467461am taking the money out of the bank today so that as long as I don't spend any more than what I withdraw Wednesday will be a NSD ;)[/QUOTE]

mmmmm maybe I'm doing this wrong!

I don't count the day I take the money out of the bank (unless I spend it then) but do then count each spend I make off it (which can be loads)...... mmmmm:)
rising from the ashes there must be a dog out there waiting for you to come along.Good luck.

Thank you marmite.... I do so hope so.:)

    Samstech hello:)

Not one today (again:mad:) - having no fridge is playing havoc with my NSDs as just can't keep fresh ham etc for my sandwiches. Did buy some rolls today so will be taking soup and a plain roll:eek: for lunch tomorrow.

Thank goodness the new one arrives on Friday ..... although not looking forward to having to visit the Mr A's either late Fri night, or worse ..... on Christmas Eve!:eek::eek:

*rushes in whilst bumping into oneself coming back the other way* OMG! How is it less than a week until Xmas :eek: I have just finished writing the last of the xmas cards (not sure if all will make it to their destinations before xmas but most of the post ones have been sent already), have plan for picking up xmas dinner trimmings on Wed but still some present wrapping to finish. Just don't seem enough hours in the day atm.

Not a NSD today BUT I did take back two items to Mr S for a refund of £12, and then saw an item I'd already earmarked for a friend's birthday (well the one I mentioned before) had just been put in the sale ... so I grabbed one (hope she doesn't find out or she will be calling me a p*key again :p) Spent less than my refund but feel it would be cheating if I called it a NSD - however that's two birthday gifts, one for Feb and one for March 2012 already sorted :j

Hopefully a NSD tomorrow but still have a few little bits to get for xmas - incl a card for OH (wasn't sure if we were doing cards this year and now he said we shoud, I bet all the ones I saw for him previously have now sold out )

Good news though, had our Showcase yesterday, was super nervous and spent the preceeding 36hrs running on nervous adrenaline. All went fab and every performer was amazing - involved a lot of driving as had to drive to rehersal in the afternoon, come home, pick up OH, drive back and then drive home after the show - 4hrs driving in all - I could have been 1/2 way to Scotland by then  Consequently I'm very achy today and really tired but in a good way. AND, I got NSD errr... #5 yesterday (OH treated me to half a lager after my performance) not quite sure where my other 7 are going to come from this month, I beleive Homebase had wrapping paper down to 10p a roll on boxing day last year so I'm planning a raid already.....oh well, at least I'm an organised spender :D (a friend who works there got some last year and lots of it was plain or not obviously xmassy so would do fine for b'days etc in the year ....see I might be spending but at least its :money: still :D)

NSD #5 for me today. Didn't get any further than my drive, and the only on-line transaction I've done was paying my monthly c/card bill (which doesn't count as a spend as I count the days I actually use the card to purchase something).

No NSD for me, but I have bought Christmas dinner, a new tree for next year (70% off at B&Q :D) and loads of wrapping paper as it was only 37p per roll. I've also bought a couple of last minute presents to top up Mr F's gift pile and think I can declare Christmas pretty much done! I will need to run to the supermarket on Christmas Eve for milk/bread/pudding, but aside from that I'm hiding in the house now until the big day :rotfl:
