Just a thought but this is a crime, have you informed the police if only to get a crime number, when you get one inform vodafone of it.

I've seen you mention this before and wanted to point out that Vodafone doesn't have the largest subscriber base in the UK by far.

I suppose it depends on your point of view, The combined Orange / Tmobile group will have more overall but they are still treated as two companies from a brand point of view, which is where I meant. We don't get complaints here about Everything Everywhere but rather still about Orange or TMobile to do a simple comparison.

    See http://www.telecomsmarketresearch.com/resources/UK_Mobile_Operator_Subscriber_Statistics_2.shtml#Mobile_Operator_Market_Share_1Q10 for 2010 figures.

Thanks, my cousin who is in the police suggested I phone & get a crime number so vodafone can claim back the money from their insurers. I phoned the local station and they didn't want to know and wouldn't give me a crime number as voda internal team would investigate.

I've had a letter today from Voda to 'apologise' for someone 'impersonating me' and getting through their security checks.

Managed to get to the bank this morning (as darling daughter got me up at 6.30am) so they're processing the refund that Voda still haven't done, but it could still take up to 48 hours.
