exact same problem, only i have had the phone 10days. I was promised it would be sorted in two separate occasions. they tell me that there are a lot of people in the same situation. apparently its a problem on Three's end.

    That is pretty poor.

You do have 14 days to return the phone with no obligation.

I would return it and go elsewhere. My Vodafone contract was connected within 10 minutes.

got the phone on 20th, made few phone calls to e2save and '3' they blame each other, but got connected yesterday. someone(e2save/'3') not telling a true story.

You should still have 14 days to return the phone.

When I upgrade I pick a handset and return it within 14 days for a different model if I don't like it, then I have another 14 day period to return the second model if I wish.

If i chosse no new model then no new contract (contract term) is extended.

Try and get a different advisor, if they say the same then ask to speak to a Manager.

I bought a new phone from E2Save last Tuesday. I was porting my number from another network and it became active yesterday, so one week later. This was with O2. Not sure where I read this, but I am sure somewhere it said something about taking 7-10 days to port a number so this may explain it.

Sorry if you haven't ported though as this won't be very helpful.

Me too! I posted about it the other day but no one replied on here. I sent mine back today after numerous stories from customer services and one rather rude woman on the phone. Hopefully my return will go OK and I can get something new soon. I have no idea what is going on  .

Following on from my original post, went into three store today and they put me through on the phone to Three CS.
They yet again claim that they have no knowledge of me even purchasing the phone. As Nanjo points out, they are just laying the blame on each other.

    I would cancel if I we're you.

If they can't even get a simple connection right what faith does that give you for the rest of the contract regarding bills on time, d/d taken on time, cashbacks paid on time ?.

You'd be better out of it, if you encounter problems after the 14 day period and no-one helps you then your tied down for the contract term and your only option would be to pay off the contract which will be expensive.
