£70 a month/£840pa is approx 8,400 kWh pa, which is more than twice the national average, assuming that you use gas for your CH and DHW.
Please confirm your actual annual kWh consumption, as that is the figure that matters-not your DD amount.
Something is clearly awry. Immersion heater left on 24/7?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yes it is. I'm actually £127 in credit at the moment.

Youre in credit simply because winter is coming up and you'll use a lot more in the coming few months.

If you add this £127 to 4 x 30£ = £247, hopefully you'll come up even at the end of March

So your usage isnt £30 a month, you use a lot more in winter than in summer but hopefully the £30 a month evens it all out over the year.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I live in a 3 bed terrace with DH and 2 kids and am constantly running washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, 2 freezers, 2 laptops, 1 PC, 2 games consoles, and the kids constantly leave all the lights on!! I also cook with electric and use about £180 per quarter.
