Hi there
I've paid £50 to the Barclays overdraft. I've had good news in the form of a tax rebate today of over £500 whooopppeeeee! I will be paying this off my debts as soon as the cheque clears. I will keep you posted.
Good luck and happy becoming-debt-free!

Thanks jwil for the thread, hope you don't mind my late arrival.

oops I thought I'd already posted here to say I'd like to join- maybe I didn't click on post reply- not a great start!
I WILL clear £7124 in 2012, hopefully in the first 7 months but we shall see!Hi,
I fell off the wagon this year. And actually due to being in and out of family court with ex got more into debt due to solicitor's fees.
I am determined to get a grip now and get the debt going down, not up. I shall come later this week to update my aim after I have got my paperwork/spreadsheets/budget in order.Kellyjelly27 wrote: »Hiya, count me in again for 2012. After a successful 2011 on this thread, starting with circa £33K worth of debt, it works for me.
Going to do it slightly differently this year as the loan repayments are made automatically and then I save on top to build up to be able to pay the loans off in full as I can't overpay them, so each month's figures will include the overpayment to savings.
My aim is £17,851 for 2012, starting with the first payments next week which will leave us debt free by the end of the year, and I commit to posting every month (stopped in August this year and noticed the difference as I lost focus)
Good luck everybody!

I have one signifcant debt currently, a CC bill of £2700, so that is my aim - to clear this by the end of next year.
