I really didn't manage much in May. Having to replace a very large carpet (have put up with the state of it as long as possible) and my boiler has packed in so it looks like the next few months might be similar while I pay for that :(

There's always something isn't there

    Also, jwil, quick tip.

Instead of writing EURO, just hold the right ALT key (Alt Gr) and press the number 4 along the top of the keyboard (like you would shift and 4 for the dollar sign). You'll then get the € sign.

    Testing...€€€€€€€€

Woo, thank you Laze!! :j :j I had no idea about that and I couldn't find the € in the symbols either.

How's it all going in June so far?
We've booked a holiday to Lanzarote at an eco yurt place on the beach - sounds great fun for DS. That was cheap but the flights, even on ryanair, were ridiculuos - nearly £1k for the three of us! I was pretty cross. If we'd gone for an all-inclusive wasteful resorty holiday, which really isn't us, it would have cost us about £1k all in. Why does it cost so much more to be a bit eco in this crazy world?!

Anyway. We paid for the flights with some money leftover from some my godmother gave us, and I paid for the yurt deposit from my current account, so no debt type damage done. Which is always good. Should be able to pay the balance from current account next month after I get paid so not too worried about all that. And made £100 on ebay last night so pleased with that too. My aim for June is to get to under £1000 owing though I think that's probably quite unlikely. But good to have an aim....
