Hey all,
After a recent incident with a apparently fake website I have been trying to find a trustworthy place to buy my new processor. I am looking to purchase an AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE (125Watt) processor, but find myself extremely paranoid when searching the net.
I found it on Play.com for £127, but it is being sold by a PlayTrader. I also found it on eBuyer.com and that website was suggested by a friend, but I have heard bad things about their customer service and the way they are when you try to return faulty items.
Can anyone suggest a website where I can shop?
Thanks.

I've never had a problem with eBuyer (but never had to return anything either), and I've heard good things about Scan (apart from some of the prices).:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
Ebuyer are fine, I have ordered stuff from there before and also made returns with no problem.
Amazon and Dabs maybe?
Always read the T&C's in regards to returns and you shouldn't have a problem.0 -
I've used ebuyer for years and always had any problems dealt with quickly and to my satisfaction. They are processing hundreds of orders a day so there will always be a small percentage of unhappy customers, and those are the ones who gripe and moan on forums...
As someone else posted Scan are reputable, and I've also had good service from CCL http://www.cclonline.com/0 -
cclonline.com
used them for a fair few bits along with a new recent build system (AMD phenom based)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
I use ebuyer, never had a problem (never had to return anythign though). Dabs has a good rep also.

You could have bought the phenom x6 1055t online for £99 yesterday from PC world...

Keep an eye on incase they get more stock0 -
I'd always look at ebuyer, scan, overclockers, microdirect, Amazon or Dabs for my PC parts.... all suppliers have good and bad reputations and I've never had issues with any of the ones I've listed but then again I seem to have very few problems with parts purchased.

W3e've used ebuyer a lot and not had any problems so far.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

I've used CCL and would recommend them, also depending where you live you can actually go to the shop/warehouse and order right there and take it away with you, Overclockers UK is in Newcastle-under-Lyme and CCL is near Bradford (addresses on their websites), I'm sure there are other retailers that do a similar thing.0
