    LOL, I'm not exactly an Ayrshire lass - I've only been living here less than a year. :rotfl: Still, it was sunny here today. :D
  • I live in Edinburgh but gave up work a while ago (strangely enough - also Heriot-Watt). I love not working (and you get used to having less money) and picking up tips from the various MSE boards.

    Working in Edinburgh is OK but try driving there ? I don't think so. The roads are the worst maintained I have come across.

    I worked in Edinburgh as well with the police support

    staff, until I took early

    retirement 5 years ago;) ,I live in Mid Calder now.:j
    please do not pick on me for my grammar,I left school at fifteen and worked in the building trade for 55years ,
