I was wondering that too, as I work PT shifts, but now that both boys are at High School, and much more independant, I really need something else to keep me busy through the day. Uping my hours at work is not an option for the time being!

    Hello MSE Edinburgers
I live and work in Local Government in Edinburgh. It would be good to meet up for a coffee/refreshment/whatever. Any suggestions? ......

How about a Saturday afternoon...somewhere comfortable with big sofas and large mugs of tea/coffee.......The Elephant House on George 1V Bridge, near Central Library is ok (have only been there once - a wee while ago.)?

same here - although the Elephant House doesn't have any sofas - would need somewhere like Beanscene for that
