My OH worked in Edinburgh for 13 years, now works in Bathgate.

I work from home and that is wherever we happen to be.

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

  • If I had a son I wouldn't want him to work as a doorman - some right dodgy characters you have to deal with on a Friday and Saturday nights! :( I know most door staff are more than capable of taking care of themselves but I was in a certain Edinburgh establishment one night when someone who had been refused entry earlier for being too drunk and aggressive returned with his mates and the doorman got really badly beaten up by these idiots and then the thugs ran away before the police arrived.... :(

I work in Fairmilehead and live in Whitburn but feel like I spend most of my time on the M8 in between the two !

xxxdarlingxxx, I live in Harthill. We are practically neighbours :D

Oh, and I work at Edinburgh Park (near the Gyle) so I also feel like I spend most of my time on the M8.
