Belated birthday wishes for yesterday Counting (and lolly and kiwi)
I think it is the curse of the December birthday which makes peoples' thoughts bypass it ~ I am closer to 'The Big Day' itself and have heard it all over the years eg:- 'will get you something after christmas, its all xmas stuff in the shops now'
- 'have bought you a combined birthday and christmas present'
- 'would love to go out on your birthday but I'm skint cos it's christmas'
- 'I didn't get you a card because the shops are full of christmas ones'
- 'You didn't want a cake did you, it's all christmas cakes in the shops at the moment?
Bitter and twisted? Moi?
-s-
I think we should form some kind of "bitter and twisted birthday club"... :rotfl:

I'm just SO SO SO excited! Only adding the £65.69 once for today. Will add the other £65.69 when they sent me my money. Guess today is turning into a good day afterall!
If anyone else has coins then the competition is running till christmas eve i think and 1 in 10 people win which i think are quite good odds.
Just wanted to share my good news with you all.... And i can't believe how much i've actually made today with all my updates! :T:T:T
Thanks everyone on here for cheering me up...xxxx

:j WTG Pennies!!!!!!!! That is fabulous. See..........karma comes around eventually in one form or another. That is a great amount to win.
Thanks for the info saorse - mystery solved. I have been trying to register with said shy forest people for a while but seem to mistime the open invites and miss the boat. I did find a working link last week thanks to Aesop, but they did not have a vacancy for my household profile. They did say they would keep me on file for a few weeks but not heard anything. Patience......I suppose! Its like trying to get in the FBI :rotfl:!!0 -

Whatever you do don't give up with the forest people! I tried for about 6 months (got the message about keeping my details on file a few times too) and then finally got accepted onto the panel last month. So far i have got 3 booklets of vouchers in just 4 weeks so its worth the wait!
Well done on your wins too Nat. I would give relisting another shot if i was you. Especially as its coming up to christmas and people will be doing last minute shopping.. Good luck!

Just a quick little up date.
£10 Christmas bonus,£28.09. from E-b*y,£15 Am*zon vouchers from survey sites and £21 from handmade card sales.
Grand total this month is £99.13. Seeing that I thought December would be hard,I'm very pleased.
Quick question,if I may. What is the last date in Dec you list on e-b*y,so people will get the items by Christmas? Thinking about the high volumn of post in the next few weeks.ilovetea xxMake £2024 in 2024 £1161.08

http://www.royalmail.com/greetings gives you the last posting dates. Last year I was selling right up until the last posting date but put the information in my listing that although I was posting before last date, delivery wasn't guaranteed. So this year for example, you could have a listing ending on Sunday 18 December and as long as they paid within 24 hours they could still get it before Christmas.0 -
Had the day off today and went into town for Christmas shopping. I saved £1.20 by taking the train (I normally take the bus because they are more frequent). Saved another 15p by drinking the own brand cola rather than Coke, and got free tea and biscuits by giving blood;).
Found some nice cheap Christmas cards too and I'm going to save money this year by being organised enough to send them off 2nd class. I'm always late with them:). I'm putting it down as £1 saved, I expected to spend at least £3 and I got a deal for them all for £2.0 -
