Student In Non Student Debt and no income!

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice, I started University back in September and started with some debt and its increased over the last couple of months there's a mixture of payday loans, overdrafts, credit cards and catalogues as well as owing my parents around £3,000!

I have no money what so ever (Actually nothing!) No assets, no savings I'm literately living off the food my girlfriend buys for me. Ive had my mobile phone cut off and Im behind on all of my minimum payments etc.

Im not too sure what to do, I know my credit rating is already shredded.
The only income I get is my student finance which doesn't even cover my rent (Again my girlfriend is covering the shortfall)

So Im really stuck as ive read about DMP's but how could I go in to one knowing that I physically couldn't even make a token payment?

I mean Im doing all I can to get a job etc etc but theres nothing around in the area where Im living, Ive even tried selling Avon which failed!

Any advice would be great!

Hi Ollie, could you talk to your parents at all? I'm sure they wouldn't want to see you in this situation and its not fair on your girlfriend really... I think in all honesty you desperately need to find a part time job and also talk to cccs, they will at least give you advice...

Hello, Thanks for your reply! Im afraid I cant talk to my parents as they have said they dont want to see me/have anything to do with me unless its me handing over money to them.

And I know its not fair on my girlfriend but she insists, I guess she wont like to see me starve aha. And as for job hunting I am doing, before I started my course I spent 3 full days in Derby and handed out around 200 CV's into various shop, pubs etc and Ive carried on searching and applying for jobs since then and had no luck

Can CCCS be emailed? As with my phone been cut off I no longer have the ability to make any calls
