Hi
I am looking to upgrade the hard drive on my Acer Travel Mate 2490, at the moment it is 60GB with about 10GB free.
I am fine with removing the old drive and replacing it, I will also have to buy a dock to copy the old drive.
I am looking to at least double the present size, may go even larger but depending on the price.
Anybody any suggestions of where to look for a good price.
Thanks
Martin

Hi
I cannot see a D partition, but when I checked the drive tonight it said 60gb but on the computer it is showing 9.36gb free of 42.9gb.
Not sure if it makes any difference but I duel boot with Windows 7 and Unbuntu.

Considering the current price increases of conventional hard drives have you considered upgrading to a SSD? Ebuyer currently have a 120GB SSD for around £125
